JavaScript and DHTML Pages
DHTML Games
Simple games and puzzles are a good way to practice one's coding skills in a new language, and I have often coded up my favourite puzzle and logic based games. Here I have a few games, all rely entirely upon DHTML.
A combination of JavaScript and CSS makes DHTML based games possible within the webpage, applications don't always have to be mundane workaday stuff...
You are welcome to copy any of these games provided it retains my name, they are designed to be self-contained so all you need to do is copy the source code of the page and save it as an HTML file.
I hope you enjoy playing them as much as I enjoyed coding them,
Have fun...
- »MasterMind The very well known game from Invicta™ Guess the hidden combination of coloured 'pegs' based on black or white marker pegs...
- »Towers of Hanoi A simple but exponentially complex puzzle from the mists of time...
- »Knight's Move 64 Simple enough, get a knight around a chess board in 64 moves without visiting any square twice except to finish up at the starting point...
- »Solitaire Simple enough, leapfrog the pegs or balls to leave a single one in the centre position... (This game has a number of small image tiles as .gif files, you will need these as well if you want to copy the game - for your convenience they are packaged in this zip-file: solitaire.zip)
