MySQL Database - Win32
MySQL is an open source database development project that is also freely available and perfectly suited to work with Perl and PHP in web-based applications. I am not going to say too much about it here as for now I am not currently running any sort of database on this website. However I do use MySQL databases on other sites and consider it an essential part of any webserver.
Like Perl a win32 port is also available allowing all of the features of a remote host server database on your PC.
